A pretty poor airport especially for an international. This place sees thousands of people a day through it and yet has pretty horrible toilets and a tiny cafe. With the amount charged in landing fees you would expect alot more. Plus Qantas can never leave on time but that's not the airports fault I don't think, its Allan Joyce's fault!

Great little mining airport... being upgraded to be able to land A 380s. Good facilities has vemding machine gives change but no eftpos. Tea coffee, biccies free

Goldfields Air Service Office
We booked the 30 minutes aerial tour around Kalgoorlie. Layla was our pilot and she couldn't have been more helpful. She clearly explained the safety rules and the route our flight would take. We headed out over the Superpit and then onto the Smelting plant, where we saw a slime pour before heading back to Kalgoorlie. It was all over far to quickly. Highly recommended. Fabulous facilities, Qantas Lounge is a bit out dated but still good service. Staff are amazing and departure lounge is nice and cool during the really hot days.
